In 1995, Rockdale took over two large houses in Tunbridge Wells which had been owned by the Soroptomist Housing Association.  The houses were converted into self-contained flats in the 1970’s, and although they are not sheltered accommodation, they are rented only to tenants who are over 55 and not in full-time employment.
