Golf Day at Wildernesse
A big “thank you” to everyone who supported the Rockdale Charity Golf Day at Wildernesse Club. 23 teams of 4 players took part but unfortunately the weather was against us and the course flooded after 5 holes of the shotgun start. However, Wildernesse management gave all the players a free round of golf to be taken at another time which was announced during lunch to cheers and clapping. We were able to give out the prizes over the 5 holes and everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch. £8,086 net was raised for the Rockdale Appeal which was a great result. Picture shows the winning team. The car in the picture was a prize for a “hole in one” on the 10th hole. Sadly nobody claimed the prize.
