Rockdale House in Sevenoaks provides excellent care for the residents in our 50 bed care home, set in beautiful surroundings and located in the centre of Sevenoaks it is highly regarded by the community.
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Resident Support Worker who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people, your day to day tasks will include leading and organising the day care staff and working alongside them when necessary, administering medications to residents, conducting supervision’s for care staff and updating resident care plans.
For this role, successful candidates will have:
- Excellent communication skills and be a great team player
- A good understanding of person centred care
- Experience of working in a similar environment
- The ability to make responsible decisions that are always in the resident’s best interest
- Experience of delivering medications
- An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
Hours of work: 37 hours per week over 5 shifts including weekends and bank holidays over the following shift patterns: Early 7.30am to 2.50pm or late 1.30pm to 9.00pm.
Pay: £14.90-£18.63 per hour

Senior Night Resident Support Worker

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Night RSW (Resident Support Worker) who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people, your day to day tasks will include leading and organising the night care staff and working alongside them when necessary, administering medications to residents, conducting supervision’s for care staff and updating resident care plans.
For this role, successful candidates will have:
- Excellent communication skills and be a great team player
- A good understanding of person centred care
- Experience of working in a similar environment
- The ability to make responsible decisions that are always in the resident’s best interest
- Experience of delivering medications

Hours of work: 34.5 hours per week, 12 shifts in 4 weeks including weekends and bank holidays.
Pay: £14.90 basic £19.37 enhanced per hour

Head of Nursing

Rockdale is going through an exciting period of change, and we are growing our services to respond to the needs of our customers. We are looking for an ambitious Head of Nursing to join our great team and lead in rolling out a new nursing service in our friendly and welcoming care home.
The successful candidate will be excited at the prospect of this additional investment in our care home and will be motivated to help set up and provide this new service offer at Rockdale.
The Head of Nursing will be responsible for ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care and provide residents with a home for life. The successful candidate will also be the Deputy Home Manager of Rockdale House Care Home.
You will be implementing practices that ensure clinical standards are met in Rockdale House. You will be passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families.
For this role, successful candidates will have:
- Level 4 Health & Social Care Qualification
- You are a registered nurse with a valid NMC Pin
- You have 5 years’ Health & Social Care experience
- You have 5 years’ Senior Nursing experience
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Have strong and effective communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative, solve problems and develop staff

Pay: £50,000.00-£53,000.00 per year (depending on experience)

Domiciliary Care Manager
Job description
Rockdale is going through an exciting period of change, and we are growing our services to respond to the needs of our customers. Our ambitious strategy includes a new Domiciliary Care service to further support independent living residents. We are looking for an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager who is excited at the prospect of leading this project and ensure the successful roll out of the upgraded current support service. All our residents are within walking distance from our office.
The Domiciliary Care Manager will be responsible for, delivering and providing high quality care for our residents. They will support our Independent Living residents and families that receive Rockdale’s Domiciliary care service. They will have an oversight of the operation and they will promote an open and friendly culture for staff.
For this role, successful candidates will have:
– Level 5 Health & Social Care Qualification
– 3 years’ Health & Social Care experience
– Medication management and administration
– Experience of managing and leading a team providing a domiciliary care service
– A good understanding of current regulatory requirements
– A good understanding of QA framework/risk management practices
– Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
– Have strong and effective communication
– Ability to use own initiative, solve problems and develop staff
