We are looking for another enthusiastic Home Help (zero hours) to join our Housing team. In this role, successful employees will demonstrate reliability and efficiency in providing a variety of domestic services to residents. This can include everyday tasks such as shopping, cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, or any other reasonable tasks requested by the residents. Throughout their role, candidates will need to showcase a high level of care, trustworthiness and commitment in all tasks, in order to meet the domestic needs of our residents. This role does not include the provision of personal care to the resident.

Housekeeping Assistant
Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and hard-working Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This role requires 50% of time spent on housekeeping and cleaning tasks, the other 50% will be spent on laundry tasks. Being part of this team helps to maintain our high standards to create a clean, tidy and welcoming environment for the residents, visitors and staff in our Residential Care Home.
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; what is important to us is that you are an enthusiastic, reliable and caring individual who has good communication skills and attention to detail.
A good understanding of empathy and treating people with kindness is essential, along with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good MS Skills and GCSE’s in English and Maths are also desirable.
Shifts are on a 4-weekly rota basis (including weekends) over the following shifts: early (8:00am-3:30pm) or late (11:00am-6:30pm).
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Rockdale House in Sevenoaks provides excellent care for the residents in our 50 bed care home, set in beautiful surroundings and located in the centre of Sevenoaks it is highly regarded by the community.
We are looking for dedicated care staff who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people, your day to day tasks will include helping residents with social activities, answering call bells, completing care plans and assisting with dressing and personal care.
For this role, successful candidates will have:
- Excellent communication skills and be a great team player
- A good understanding of person centred care
- Experience of working in a similar environment
- The ability to make responsible decisions that are always in the resident’s best interest
- An NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential, however you should be willing to get further training if needed
Hours of work: Full time shifts including weekends over the following shift patterns: early 7.30am-2.30pm or late 1.30pm-9.00pm.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Resident Support Worker who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people, your day to day tasks will include leading and organising the day care staff and working alongside them when necessary, administering medications to residents, conducting supervision’s for care staff and updating resident care plans.

- Experience of delivering medications

Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Receivables Finance Assistant to join our busy team to assist in maintaining the Association’s financial records.
You should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance function and a good understanding of financial administration procedures. An understanding of working in the charitable or not-for-profit sector would also be desirable.
- Experience of dealing with rent, service charge and fee income
- Experience of reconciling rent control accounts
- Monitoring of all arrears and appropriate collection procedures
- Analysis of all receipts and bank statements, monitoring of benefit receipts, and liaising with local authorities
- Good working knowledge of MS packages
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Hours of work: Part time, 30 hours per week over four or five days (flexible)
Pay: £20,800-£22,400 per year depending on experience (Full Time Equivalent £26,000-£28,000 depending on experience)
