RSW (Carer)

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and motivated RSW (Carer) to join our team. Working as part of our valued care team you will carry out a range of tasks that help us provide the day to day quality care and support to our residents which includes personal care, daily activities and completing care plans.

About you

Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; as we will give you the full training and support you’ll need to do the job. What is important to us is that you have a caring nature, a person-centred approach and understand and respect the care needs of our residents.


  • GCSE- Maths & English
  • Good MS skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Understand person-centred care


  • Level 2 qualification (or working towards) in Health & Social Care
  • Previous experience working with older people in a care home setting

Hours of work: 36 hours per week over 5 shifts including weekends over the following shift patterns: early 7.30 am – 2.30 pm or late 1.30 pm – 9.00 pm.

£9.84 per hour weekdays/ £12.30 per hour weekends

If you are medication trained- £10.45 per hour weekdays/ £13.06 per hour weekends
