Rockdale House are looking for a Registered Home Manager to join our friendly, well-established, independent residential care home in the heart of Sevenoaks. This purpose-built home was opened in 2013 and houses 50 residents. Rockdale is a charity committed to its Mission and Objectives to establish Rockdale House as a model of excellence in residential care.
We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering exceptional quality care, who is compassionate and understanding of the needs of older people and their families and someone who has excellent organisational and communication skills along with a flexible ‘can do’ approach.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care and Leadership is essential, a Nursing qualification is also desirable.
- A minimum of 3 years’ managerial experience in a health and social care setting of a similar sized home is essential and you must be able to demonstrate achieving a “Good” rating from the Care Quality Commission.
- The successful applicant must also have a good understanding of current regulatory requirements and QA framework/risk management practices.

Head of Care

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is an experienced operational leader and can adapt to the ever-changing needs required of the home. The ideal candidate will act as the Association’s ambassador, leading, promoting and maintaining high standards of care whilst safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the residents in the home.
- You should have a management or leadership qualification (or equivalent) in health and social care along with a registered nurse qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years’ senior operational management experience with up-to-date knowledge and understanding of working within a regulatory environment.
- Experience of acting as a coach and mentor to continually develop, motivate and lead our staff team is also essential.

BANK Chef / Catering Assistant
We are looking for a Bank Chef to cover some shifts as required to cook for the residents at our 50-bed care home, who can also cover some catering assistant shifts. As a member of the catering team, the duties include cooking and preparing high-quality meals for our residents with due consideration to their dietary needs and assisting with kitchen duties.
Applicants must have:
- Experience of working in a similar role
- A Chef qualification or equivalent
- Level 2 in Food Hygiene
